Lidl Ireland has announced it is to stock a new Irish superfood powder, Juspy Collagen and Cacao Protein, as part of its latest Kickstart range of locally made products. Perfect for busy lifestyles, this Dublin superfood blend aims to help you feel energised, support your joints and give skin a natural glow - all for only €16.49.
The new Kickstart range, hitting stores nationwide from Thursday, September 11, includes 45 locally sourced products from over 25 Irish producers. As well as the superfood powder, there's Sleepsound's Pillow Spray and Serenity Balm (€3.99) for a bit of self-care, Dukes Ultra-Premium Ice Cream (€2.99) for a treat and Mary-Ellen's Meadow Wild Elderflower or Willowherb Soft Drink (€2.99) to enjoy anytime.
Juspy's Collagen and Cacao Protein Powder is a versatile all-in-one blend made with hydrolysed marine collagen, plant-based protein, cacao, baobab and ashwagandha. It can be enjoyed in shakes, coffee, overnight oats or even hot chocolate, making it a simple way to fuel your day while supporting overall wellbeing.
The Kickstart Supplier Development Programme, now in its ninth year, is designed to help small and medium-sized Irish producers scale their businesses and bring innovative products to supermarket shelves for the first time. Since 2017, Lidl has invested over €37 million in the programme, helping more than 300 local producers grow their brands and reach new audiences.
Kate O'Driscoll, Lidl's Supplier Development Manager, said: "It is a very exciting time for our Kickstart suppliers as they see their range of products land on Lidl shelves in every one of our 229 stores across the island of Ireland. This is the culmination of six months of hard work, collaborating with our in-house experts and receiving practical guidance to help them prepare for this day.
"Since its launch, we've invested more than €37 million, supporting more than 300 local producers and over 700 products, many of which we are thrilled to say are now part of Lidl's regular everyday range. With more than 45 new Irish products we are so excited to see this year's suppliers take pride of place on Lidl shelves from Thursday, September 11 and would encourage all customers to visit stores and support your local producers."
