A two-day workshop to highlight the importance of, and promote, breastfeeding was organised by the Bahrain Nursing and Midwifery Society. A total of 60 healthcare professionals including nurses, physicians, midwives, physiotherapists and students attended the event which was held at the Gulf Pharmacy, Juffair under the supervision of the society's midwifery committee .
