Blacklands Primary pupils enjoy a trip to the Titanic Museum in Belfast

PUPILS at Kilwinning's Blacklands Primary have enjoyed a fantastic trip to the Titanic Museum in Belfast.

The P7 pupils at the school set off to Northern Ireland for a tour of the impressive museum, at the shipyard where the doomed ocean liner was built.

The Titanic was constructed by the Belfast shipbuilder Harland and Wolff - and sank after hitting an iceberg on its maiden voyage from Southampton to New York on April 15, 1912.

We hope the P7 pupils enjoyed the visit, which was certainly one to remember as their time at the school comes to a close.
