Hallowe'en & Bonfire Night: What's on in Barry this week

From Hallowe'en crafts to dazzling fireworks, Barry has a packed schedule of events to enjoy this month.

Hallowe'en Which Craft? returns to Central Park for a 'spooktacular time for all'. Enjoy workshops, games, a mini market, falconry and more. It's a 'crafty morning out before the trick or treating starts' for the whole community. The event takes place on October 31, 10am to 1pm.

Cups & Sorceress - invites you to Coaltrains Coffee Shop Gallery for a mystical journey into Tasseomancy - the art of reading tea leaves. Learn the history and art of tea leaf reading with Gem. No experience needed, just 'an open mind and a love for tea'. Doors open October 31, 12.45pm.

Jenner Park fireworks

Barry Town United FC hosts its annual firework display at Jenner Park. Gates open at 5pm on November 1, with fireworks lighting up the sky from 8pm. Tickets cost £5 for adults and £3 for children.

Witch-Crafternoon

Witch-Crafternoon for Samhain offers a 'grounding moment to connect with the turning Wheel of the Year' at Merthyr Dyfan Cemetery. Join a nature walk, foraged crafting, candle spell, drum circle and seasonal treats. Tickets cost £22 for concessions and £30 for 'general' sale. The event takes place on November 1, 3.30pm to 6pm.

Barry Rugby Club fireworks

Barry Rugby Club firework display promises an incredible community celebration at the heart of the town on November 5. Bring friends, family and warm clothes for a night of fireworks and fun. Doors open at 5:30pm, with fireworks starting at 7:15pm. Tickets cost £5 for adults and £2 for children. They are available on the Barry RFC App.
