Sena Sarthi Project: Strengthening High-Altitude Logistics for Indian Army | Headlines

The Northern Army Commander, Lieutenant General Pratik Sharma, has unveiled a groundbreaking initiative called Sena Sarthi to support the armed forces in the Union Territory of Ladakh.

In partnership with Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL), the army has developed underground fuel, oil, and lubricant storage facilities in the Kargil sector, marking a significant step in improving logistics infrastructure in high-altitude locations.

These state-of-the-art storage tanks will enhance fuel capacity, ensuring continuous operational readiness in the region's demanding environment.
