Jonathan Ross makes brutal Celebrity Traitors prediction after banishment

The Celebrity Traitors spoilers follow for the latest episode to air on BBC One and stream on iPlayer.

The Celebrity Traitors has, seven of nine episodes in, finally seen the group correctly banish a Traitor from the game, after having sent five of their own home. The frustration felt by the players, not to mention the country watching along at home, turned to joy as Jonathan Ross was voted out.

There's only two Traitors left, Alan Carr and Cat Burns, and both of them have come under suspicion. Could they squeeze through the last two episodes and nab the prize money, or are the Faithfuls on a roll?

There's no-one to better ask them Jonathan himself, and in his opinion, things are looking too good for one of his fellow Traitors.

"I don't think Alan's going to survive, but I think Cat will make it to the end," he said. "I think Cat will win, and she deserves to win. Out of the three of us, she had the best tactical brain."

Lucy Beaumont, who was murdered face-to-face in the same episode, also backed the singer to go all the way, despite being on the opposite team.

"I feel like I should back the Faithfuls, but Cat is just doing such a good job," Lucy said. "I do sort of want her to win."

Of course Jonathan himself dropped both Cat and Alan's names to Joe Marler, saying he had a bit of suspicion about them.

On Uncloaked he insisted that he felt like he only mentioned them "very lightly" and hoped he had done it in a way that wasn't just a Traitor throwing their teammates under the bus when they know the jig is up.

The thing that might lead to Alan's downfall, which Joe did mention in this episode in a chat with Jonathan, and that's how Alan forgot he had a shield and was safe from murder.

It wasn't really brought up at the Round Table, as it was all about getting Jonathan out tonight. However, Joe's still got it in his pocket, and between that and him having to murder in plain sight again, it might be curtains for him.

But could the other part of Jonathan's prediction come true, and Cat wins the whole thing? We'll find out soon.

The Celebrity Traitors airs on BBC One and streams on iPlayer, while The Celebrity Traitors: Uncloaked follows afterwards on BBC Two and iPlayer.
